As an intern in the Operational Excellence team, you will provide operational support in the areas of purchasing, returns, logistics and inventory management. Our team goal? In summary, your responsibilities will include:
Logistics Management: Help us keep things moving smoothly behind the scenes. You’ll track and manage our logistics processes, finding ways to make sure we get goods to our customers quicker and more efficiently.
Carrier Performance Analysis: Dive into data to see how our delivery partners are performing. You’ll help us figure out what’s working, what’s not, and suggest ways to improve.
Return Operations Management: Returns can be tricky, but we need you to help make sure everything flows smoothly. You’ll help streamline the process so it’s as efficient and customer-friendly as possible.
Internal Projects: Be part of exciting internal projects aimed at making our daily operations faster and better. You’ll have the chance to bring your ideas to the table and see how they impact the way we work.
Job requirements
Requirements:
Pursuing HBO or WO education (2nd, 3rd or 4th year), as well as Masters degree preferably in supply chain management, economics, purchasing, or (technical) business administration
You are available immediately for a minimum of 4 months (longer availability is an advantage)
Authorized to work in the Netherlands and can commute to our beautiful office in Utrecht
You are a go-getter and team player, you are also solution-oriented, flexible and you take initiative
Finding motivation in process improvements within a retail and supply chain environment
Possessing good analytical and computer skills, particularly in Excel
Please note that it is possible to combine this internship with an assignment for school, however we require 4 days of working in the field and can then offer 1 day dedicated to research and school work!
