About the role

As a supply chain intern, you will provide operational support in the areas of purchasing, returns, logistics and inventory management. Together with the team, you will ensure that all our beautiful products are showcased on our website with optimal availability. This entails maintaining communication with suppliers regarding orders and delivery times to ensure smooth operations.

For graduation assignments, we offer opportunities for collaboration with category management, marketing, logistics, and/or finance. These assignments may involve customer/assortment analyses, forecasting, supplier or inventory management. You'll thrive in proactively maintaining satisfaction among existing customers and sparking enthusiasm in potential new customers for fonQ based on your efforts.

In summary, your responsibilities will include:

  • Executing relevant assignments
  • Supporting the department in purchasing, logistics planning and inventory management
  • Monitoring and adjusting the flow of goods and information



  • Pursuing HBO or WO education (3rd or 4th year), as well as Masters degree preferably in supply chain management, economics, purchasing, or (technical) business administration
  • You are available immediately for a minimum of 4 months (longer availability is an advantage)
  • Authorized to work in the Netherlands and can commute to our beautiful office in Utrecht
  • You are a go-getter and team player, you are also solution-oriented, flexible and you take initiative
  • Finding motivation in process improvements within a retail and supply chain environment
  • Possessing good analytical and computer skills, particularly in Excel
